The album was released by Massacre Records. The band released their second and for now last full-length studio album "Poison Seed" in 1996. The "Your Favourite God" EP was released by Massacre Records in 1995.
It would be five years before another official release by the band would see the light of day.
LETHAL recruited new guitarist David McElfresh to replace Dell Hull. Dell Hull had designed the cover artwork for "Programmed". Guitarist Dell Hull left LETHAL shortly after the release of "Programmed" and started working for a company in California who made album cover designs. The band then scored a record deal with Metal Blade Records and released their debut full-length studio album "Programmed" in 1990 ( with new drummer Jerry Hartman). The first release by LETHAL was the 1987 "Arrival" demo.
The lineup was completed by Dell Hull on guitars. The band´s original drummer was Adrian Powers while Tom Mallicoat took care of the vocals in the band. The band was formed by the Cook brothers Eric ( guitars) and Glen ( Bass). LETHAL are an American progressive power metal act ( US styled) formed in 1982 in Hebron, Kentucky.
